Favorite Movie The Titanic My favorite movie is The Titanic because it represents such a great love story and also an important historic event. In The Titanic Rose and Jack were never meant to be together. Everyone that Rose was associated with was trying desperately to separate the two. But true love persevered. The Titanic was an incredible love story with a tragic ending. Tragic love stories tend to really attract audiences. One of my favorite quotes that Jack Dawson speaks in the Titanic is, "I got air in my lungs, a few blank sheets of paper. I mean, I love waking up in the morning not knowing whats gonna happen or, who I'm gonna meet, where I'm gonna wind up. Just the other night I was sleeping under a bridge and now here I am on the grandest ship in the world having champagne with you fine people. I figure life's a gift and I don't intend on wasting it. You don't know what hand you're gonna get dealt next. You learn to take life as it comes at you .....to make each day count." Another favorite quote of mine is "Promise me you'll survive. That you won't give up, no matter what happens, no matter how hopeless."
Favorite Song Anything Taylor Swift
Ever since I was a little girl I have always loved Taylor Swift.
Favorite Book The Fault in Our Stars The Fault in Our Stars is my favorite book because I love romance books. The way that John Green wrote this book made everyone who read it feel like they can relate to the story or that they are a part of the book. I can relate to losing someone to cancer so this book really touched my heart. I could feel the same pain that the main character in this book felt. John Green wrote The Fault in Our Starts in first person as if the main character, Hazel, was writing the book. Understanding how the character feels exactly from their point of view helps readers relate to the story. "It's a metaphor, see: You put the killing thing right between your teeth, but you don't give it the power to do its killing." ~John Green “What else? She is so beautiful. You don’t get tired of looking at her. You never worry if she is smarter than you: You know she is. She is funny without ever being mean. I love her. I am so lucky to love her, Van Houten. You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world, old man, but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices. I hope she likes hers.” ~John Green
